Get Help!

I can help you with your Windows computer even though I'm not there with you. Follow the instructions below, and I'll be able to temporarily "see" and work on your computer's desktop from my computer, and I should be able to help you with the problem you're experiencing.

Step One:

If this is your first time at this page, and you've never interacted with me before, please click here to send me an email with your request for assistance. It's helpful if you can provide a brief rundown of the issue, and the level of urgency. If you're unable even to send email, you may call me at 707 280 8472. Obviously, if you have no internet connectivity at all, you won't be able to download or use the Remote Support Tool, in which case you must call me first.

Step Two:

Click on the link below to download the Remote Support Tool. This will pop up a window asking if you want to open or save "Remote Support.exe"; select "Save". Another window will pop up asking where you want to save it to. It will likely have "Desktop" as the default. If so, just click that second "Save" button. If not, you should be able to select the desktop from a list of choices, and then follow the previous steps.

Download Remote Support Tool

Step Three:

Now, click on that new "Remote Support" icon on your desktop. That will open the connection to my desktop so that I may work on your computer.

Step Four:

Once we're done working together, I'll let you know that I'm closing the Remote Support window, and the connection will end automatically. Once it's closed, there's absolutely no risk of anyone else connecting to your computer. Even I can't connect again to your computer unless and until you click the Remote Support icon again. And if you want to be doubly sure, just delete the Remote Support icon from your desktop (you can always come here and download it again). You have complete control over my access to your computer.
